Two Busted On Weapons Charges Following LaGrange Traffic Stop

Two men were busted on weapons charges following a traffic stop for speeding and failing to keep right.

Austin A. Suarez, 23, of Hudson, and Kawan A. Nunnally, 26, of Albany, were busted on felony weapons possession during a traffic stop around 4 a.m Sunday, Dec. 30, in the Town of LaGrange, according to the Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

During the stop on Route 55, deputies located a handgun inside the vehicle, Watterson said.

Both men were charged with criminal possession of a weapon, Suarez was also charged with speeding and failure to keep right (traffic infractions). 

After being processed, both men were arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Court and were remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
